Acoustic Performance

Pet Felt

Pet Felt is crafted from 100% polyester, with 50% sourced from recycled plastic bottles. It is produced using nonwoven technology and undergoes a chemical-free production process. With a moisture content not exceeding 0.02%, Pet Felt boasts an antibacterial, partially antiallergic structure and naturally repels water due to its hydrophobic properties.

Natural Felt Color

The natural felt panel colors feature a “through body” color, ensuring that the exposed felt edges match seamlessly. These colors have distinct front and back sides determined by the direction of the fibers.

Mandarin Felt Color

The Mandarin color collection comprises dyed felt colors laminated onto a natural felt substrate. The exposed felt edge in this collection always retains the selected natural color substrate.

Substrate

Natural felt serves as the substrate for the Mandarin colors, and when specifying a Mandarin color, the natural substrate color must be selected.

Color Combinations

Single, two, and three-tone color combinations are available for specific products.

Color Irregularities

PET Felt often exhibits a heathered effect with multiple tones present. Please note that product color serves as an indication only, as consistency of color from batch to batch cannot be guaranteed. Slight variations in color and thickness may occur between dye lots or production runs. It’s essential to anticipate color variations when utilizing this sustainable material.

Temperatures

Significant variations in temperature and humidity can cause the fibers to expand or contract, affecting suspended and hanging panels.

Lead Time

Once we receive the 50% deposit and all signed documents, our standard lead time is 12 to 14 weeks.

Sea Freight

Sea freight is charged based on cubic volume, calculated at 9% of the Total List Price. Please note that an order will not be accepted unless it includes the freight charge.

Order Placement

Orders will be placed once we receive the 50% deposit, signed documents, and technical drawings.

Payment

Our payment terms require a 50% non-refundable deposit upon placing the order for the product, freight, delivery, and installation (if provided by MCONTRAST). The remaining 50% of the project is due before delivery to the client’s site or warehouse.
